UBF is not the same without our AlterRage, so in order to make UBF great again, we need to get him back into the game. That means to raise enough money to build a computer for him to play games with the poes. So if anyone has a little change to spare or other useful parts, it would be great if they could donate it for a greater cause.
Update 11.02.2020: The PC has been brought to AlterRage on 08.02.2020, I have returned on 09.02.2020. It was a drive of about 1.200 km and it was absolutely worth it. AlterRage is playing on it already and UBF is once again complete. I would like to thank everyone who participated in this project in any way. Together, we have made UBF great again. Update 19.01.2020: The package was delivered to the post office-counter instead of to the self-service pick-up machine in the post office. It will be picked up on Monday. Meanwhile the computer has been assembled – without memory – and is awaiting its first run.
Update 16.01.2020: The package containing the memory has been handed over to the postal service and the parcel is set to arrive tomorrow.
Update 15.01.2020: The order has been picked up and is now waiting to be assembled. The missing memory will be delivered via mail as it could not be shipped in time. It seems like there is shortage in memory, in general, because I inquired about alternatives and they’re all having problems with shipping time.
Update 09.01.2020: The sold out memory is not being shipped by the manufacturer anymore. I’ve spoken to the retailer and we have settled on a replacement. The spreadsheet has been altered accordingly. No pick-up time was given.
Update 08.01.2020: Availability of the components is currently limited as the ordered memory is sold out. I have spoken with the retailer and will be notified once the order is complete.
Update 30.12.2019: The order has been put in, the retailer is currently processing it and will be in touch regarding pick-up time.
